Wonderful round table day!

On 13 May 2022, the EUWEB Module, in cooperation with the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Salerno, organized the round table entitled ‘La lotta alla corruzione alla prova del sistema penale multilivello: una risposta ordinamentale’ (Fight against Corruption at the Multilevel Criminal System Test: A Response from the Legal System) who, among others, has seen the attendance of Prof. Teresa Russo (EUWEB Leader) and Prof. Anna Oriolo (EUWEB Key Teacher) as introductory speakers.

The round table has been the occasion to introduce the volume ‘La lotta alla corruzione nella legalità reticolare. Il sistema penale multilivello’ published by FrancoAngeli (Fight against Corruption within Reticular Legality. The Multilevel Criminal System).

Thank you SoEULaw!
On 5-6 May 2022 Jean Monnet Module Solidarity in European Union Law ‘s final conference took place, hosted by the Department of Law of the University of Pisa.
The Conference, entitled “La solidarietà nel diritto dell’UE e di altre organizzazioni regionali: verso la solidarietà nel diritto internazionale?” (Solidarity in EU Law and Other Regional Organizations: Towards Solidarity in International Law?) represented a beautiful and captivating ending of the high formation course that walked along with us for these three years.
Always keeping high the bar of content provided to the audience, without losing a human and sensitive dimension, the Conference saw the participation of EUWEB’s Module Leader, Professor Teresa Russo, with a speech regarding “Solidarity with Candidate States: the Western Balkan Case”, which represents also the Chapter 12 of the book Solidarity in International Law. Challenges, Opportunities and the Role of Regional Organizations (Routledge-Giappichelli, 2022), edited by Leonardo Pasquali, SoEULaw’s Leader.
Mindful of these wonderful years of cooperation, EUWEB wishes to thank SoEULaw and, namely, Professor Leonardo Pasquali, for the inspiring and stimulating initiatives , as well as the relevant results produced!

On 22 April 2022 (Afternoon) – second day of the Conference on ‘Transnational Crimes, Human Rights and Rule of Law at International and EU Level’, run by Prof. Anna Oriolo, EUWEB Key Teacher and Responsible for the Sub-Section ‘Fight Against Transnational Crimes’ – EUWEB hosted a relevant series of contributions, along with a rich open debate, concerning the relationship between transnational crimes, human rights and rule of law.

Above all things, the High Specialization Course intends to praise the remarkable scientific level of the speeches of our Speakers, as well as the expertise and proficiency shown by our Chairs!
