Anti-Plagiarism Policy

The Journal, Editor-in-Chief, and the entire Editorial Board unreservedly condemn plagiarism and other practices detrimental to intellectual property. Accordingly, they proactively commit to preventing and fighting plagiarism.

By submitting the paper for publication, the authors (i.e., including co-authors) certify that:

  • They are fully aware that plagiarism is morally wrong, and entails using another person’s idea or published work while claiming it as their own.
  • That each contribution to article or project has been acknowledged, and sources of information from other published or unpublished works have been fairly referenced.
  • That they are solely responsible for the text of the article along with any incomplete/incorrect references.

The Editorial Staff and referees are asked to meticulously check whether the contributions received include totally or partially plagiarized content through the use of available plagiarism detection tools, including the Google search engine and specific software such as Turnitin.

In case of disclosure of plagiarized (totally or partially) content in an article after its publication, the Journal commits to withdrawing the publication, appropriately disseminating the decision with all the means necessary, and publishing a specific retraction.

The above notwithstanding, some plagiarism might escape the authors or Journal’s notice. When this is the case, any author or other external interested individual who find their work plagiarized may report plagiarism to info@euweb.org, preferably by submitting both the original and the allegedly plagiarizing article, and highlighting the parts concerned.
